Congressman Joe Neguse, who represents Colorado’s Congressional District 2
in the U.S. House, will hold a public Town Hall on June 12 at the Simms Library.

The Congressman serves on the House Judiciary Committee and the House Natural Resources Committee, plus many subcommittees and other Select Committees and Caucuses. (See the Congressman’s website at:
During the current House recess, the Congressman is back in his home District to meet with constituents through open office hours, town halls, and other events. The Congressman also has been holding various group meetings, including hosting the first field hearing of the U.S. House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis in Boulder on August 1. At that hearing, Governor Polis and other local government leaders presented information about efforts to address climate change at our state and local community levels. (That hearing was recorded and is available online.)
Estes Park and RMNP are special areas for Congressman Neguse, and this will be the third public Town Hall that he has held locally since his swearing in 7 months ago.
Since taking office in January, Congressman Neguse has co-sponsored 19 bills. Two of those bills were public lands bills that already have been signed into law. Both of those bills have positive direct impact on the public lands in the Congressman's 2nd Congressional District, including RMNP, Arapaho National Forest, White River National Forest, Pike and San Isabel National Forest, and Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands. The Congressman also has been interviewed frequently regarding his service on the House Judiciary Committee and its recent hearings.
Please attend to hear the latest updates from our Representative in Congress. #ColoradoDems
